Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide when you create an account or use Inkies, including your name and email address from Google sign-in or your email magic link sign-in. We do not use passwords.

We collect your workspace details and the website URLs you connect to Inkies. To provide the service, we crawl content that is publicly available on those sites, including pages, links, headings, images, and other material you make available.

We receive billing status and subscription information from Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

We collect usage information, privacy-friendly analytics information, and error logs. This can include pages visited, browser and device details, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about errors encountered while using Inkies.

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve Inkies.
• Learn the product and content of the websites you connect.
• Research, generate, quality-check, link, and publish articles for you.
• Process subscriptions, provide support, and communicate with you.
• Protect Inkies, prevent abuse, and investigate security incidents.
• Understand product usage and fix errors.
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Inkies uses cookies and similar technologies where they are needed for sign-in, security, and core service functions.

We use DataFast for privacy-friendly, cookie-based, first-party analytics. DataFast helps us understand visits and conversions without using an advertising network. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some Inkies features may not work without necessary cookies.

We use service providers to operate Inkies and deliver its features. These providers process information only as needed for their services and under their own terms and privacy policies:

• Convex, for database and backend hosting.
• Vercel, for web hosting.
• Resend, for transactional email.
• Google, for sign-in.
• Stripe, for payments and subscription management.
• Sentry, for error monitoring.
• DataFast, for privacy-friendly analytics.
• AI model providers, for article generation.

When Inkies uses AI model providers, content from your connected site and prompts you submit are sent to them to provide article generation. Those providers do not use that information to train our models.

We retain information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide Inkies, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete information when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time by emailing support@inkies.app. You can export the content generated for you before deletion or cancellation.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No online service can guarantee complete security, so please use strong security practices for your Google account and email account.

Inkies and our service providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries, including servers in the United States. When information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to protect it and comply with applicable privacy laws.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to ask us to limit or stop certain processing. We handle requests under the Australian Privacy Act and the General Data Protection Regulation where applicable.

Inkies is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact support@inkies.app.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Inkies changes or when the law requires it. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the date at the top. Your continued use of Inkies after an update means you accept the updated policy.
